So I've had this issue for a few weeks, but on every bump I can hear a clunking noise coming from what I think is the struts in the front similar to the sound when the struts are bad. However, the struts don't have even 20K on them. When you bounce the front end by hand they seem just fine. What is this noise?!?!

Check out all your suspension links.. You could have some worn parts. Did you change the strut mount along with the strut?? also could be a broken exhaust hanger and the exhaust system is bumping into something...

Year, Make Model, engine size??
x3 on the sway bar end links.
I've seen cheap struts go bad within 20K, did you replace the strut mount too?

I beat my brains out on my 91 Bird replaced everything that I thought could make the noise and showed some wear.
The noise ended up being the stabilizer bar end links.:mad2:

The best way to find the noise is with a set of Chassis Ears. They allow you to monitor six different components while you are driving and you can move them around to pinpoint the noise.
