Had some guys over to my place this week from the Contour Enthusiasts Group to do some work, hang out etc. I know the user names won't mean anything to you guys, I am literally copy\pasting from the CEG forums.
We actually had 6 Contours, no trolls and all 4 SVT colors (Ebony Black, Silver Frost, Toreador Red and Tropic Green) at one of our meets (first since I've been around)... .
In no particular order.

Yup, the original goal was to get cars shined up, detailed and do any last minute mods or repairs before Spring Zing (CEG's annual national gathering) that is this week. Not a single car got washed!
And if anyone is wondering why we were cutting apart an SE grille it's so you can put in after market mesh that some CEGer's make. He had ordered an SVT grille which separates and you can just replace the mesh part, but they sent an SE grille and the parts have to be physically cut out.
Yes sir. Last year we had our show and shine at Gilmore Auto Museum, Ford brought out a pre-production SHO and Fusion Sport. We won't have anything quite that cool this year.
SZ is 3-4 days of various activities, track day, dyno day\scenic cruises\show & shine, banquet, then 4th day of whatever\heading out. All activities are usually followed by shenanigans in the hotel parking lot till wee hours of the morning.
