While I agree the FSM is the best place, perhaps an overview of six pages in the July-August 1965 Ford Shop Tips may be worth reviewing (pages 2 through 7).

I got it from a Ford dealer decades ago...

My balance link adjusting screw was stuck, so much so I wound up stripping the Allen. I welded a nut on top of it to get it to turn
