has anyone converted manual to power top,where to buy kit,and how big a job is it

You have posted to the introduction forum.
Not sure what kind of Ford you may have.
I assume not a full sized as most if not all of those had power tops anyway.

A powered top is not that complex. Just not sure there are any kits. Consists of
a pump & reservoir
two power cylinders
a switch
Wiring and hydraulic lines.

What kind of vehicle do you have?
