Welcome to the FFO!

If this is a Ford Fairlane built in Australia, know that Ford of Australia used a different numbering system than Ford used in the US
I may be able to get you reference to Ford of Australia's numbering system for the Patent Plate. However you have posted numbers on other unknown parts.
It may help if you identify those parts and where the numbers are.

There is another member that just bought a Falcon of the same vintage. I will look for that thread as it will help you.

The 1964 Fairlane is a SD
Ford of Australia used two letters for different years of Intermediate Fairlanes between 1962 and 1964
The lettering is as follows
1962 = FB
1963 = FC
1964 = FD
Before and after that the identification was different

SED = Sedan

So the radiator core support number you posted IS the serial number or what we would call today a VIN. In classic posting that serial number shown has a * in the front and end of the number. That is exactly how Ford stamped that same number in the US on a body cowl tab.

Your serial number to your Fairlane is FDSED103659

The 1964 Fairlane 500 sedan was assembled by Ford Australia from December 1963 to the end of the model year. Only 1344 were made

Two engines were offered a 260 V8 with Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission or a 289 V8 with Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission.
