Is it running hot or is it actually overheating??? Your engine will run hotter & use more fuel when running the A/C due to the added load on the engine..

If your engine overheat is primarily at idle or slow speeds, you might wish to check the fan clutch. Another symptom of a worn or slipping fan clutch will be poor A/C performance. If it found that the fan clutch needs to be replaced, special tools might be required.

Please use more words to explain your problem. What works, what doesn't and which fan are you referring to?
