Can anyone please tell me how to adjust the moon roof properly on an escape ?

Mine had been loose for a few years, and not sitting in place quite right. When closed, it would be down a tiny bit, just low enough to take in a few drops in the car wash. All I did was push it up flush with the roof then tighten up the 4 allen bolts, and now its perfect. I had thought it needed that play in it to slide and pop up, but it obviously doesn't. If it's not going forwards and backwards properly, I have no idea!

Thank you, sir! This is what I've been looking for on my '05 Escape. Seems like the moon roof switch is not working properly; have to hold it in the close position, but it opens on a one touch. Maybe it needs to be initialized. I'm gonna try this tomorrow. Thanks again. Hope it works!
