The plan is we can meet up the day / night here at my home in Faribault,Mn. before which is Friday June 11th 2010 and then Sat. June 12th cruise down to Fairmont, Mn. for the Interlaken Hertiage Days Car Show. Then we can stay there for the night or come back here to Faribault. Sunday would be a day we would meet at my place again for some food, drinks, games, trophy's, etc. and maybe even a short cruise into town....any ideas are welcome.
Figure Monday would be back to normal....work and no play.......yuck!

Dustdevil and I would like to hear your ideas and we want to start a list again of people who will be attending. Remember, the focus is F/Z's but we will welcome other Fox chassis cars. There is also no reason why any one and everyone cant come with other great cars/trucks to the car show. Just dont be mad if your not the center of attention. Idea is fun time for everyone but to show off the forgotten car...the original Fox Chassis !!

So...the date is June 11th - June 13th, 2010 !!!

But, i prolly cant afford the gas for 2 vehicles and the family doesnt own THAT big of a car trailer.

I have a burn barrel and a fire pit. There is a camp ground across town, and lots of hotles very close.

I was planning on driving up for 1 day and coming home the same day.... looks like that probably wont happen. Didnt realize it was so far. I was thinking like 300 miles for some reason, I confused myself.

i usually stop about twice when on a road trip from appleton to lacrosse, but they're predetermined stops...

according to mapquest it'll cost just under 50$ to get from my house to fairmont, MN, and around $45 to get to faribault. not bad.
it would be $35 for the longer trip if i still had my inline 6... :frown5:

I have driven from Milwaukee WI to Mt Sterling TN, just stopped to pee and grab snacks. Did the same for the return trip home.

It will be like $80 to $90 for a round trip for me if I keep off the gas, less than 2 tanks of fuel. That is 374 miles there and 374 miles home.

it's about 354 for me one way, so like $100-120 just for fuel round trip... but I'm also going with a ridiculous 20MPG guesstimate. i really don't know what i get, but i want to say with the 2.73 gears it's close to 25...

I get 28 to 33mpg with the Corvette with I think 3:42 gears.
