Does anyone know of a possible solution for this? I live in northern Canada and it gets very cold here in the winter. It seems that whenever it's -30 or lower my radio does not work. I don't have a fancy navigation system or anything, just a small screen that displays the heat settings, time, weather, and the radio station or if I'm using Bluetooth. When the radio is not working, the screen still displays the heat settings and says "Ford Fusion" but it doesn't show anything else. Even the "aux" and "am/FM" buttons and the phone button do not do anything.

It's not really the biggest issue because all that it changes is that I can't listen to music or see the time and weather, but I can do all of those from my phone anyway. It's just a bit of an annoying inconvenience. But the car is otherwise really good in the winter. I never have to plug it in and it always starts! Anyway I'm really not car savvy so I'm hoping there is something simple I can do to fix it.

Welcome to the FFO!

Does the system come back on after the heater has been on for a time?
Or does the outside ambient temp have to come up for the system to work?

As a guess, a bad solder joint or connection internal to the radio.
