They need to do a complete makeover.this body style has been around of 10 years and is getting tired.They should also make a 4x4 model,not a AWD like they have been.And they need to do something about the ****ty gas mileage.

It is a 4WD now! It should really be called A4WD. Ford seems to think they can call their system AWD because of the added traction control. In the Escape it's called 4WD but the same exact system in a Fusion or Edge is called AWD. Does is vary torque from side to side while making a turn? Nope! Look at the Accura SH-AWD system here: SH-AWD which does that on the rear wheels, about all one could do on a FWD.

2008 body style, based on the '67 Bronco solid frame, solid axles, 2-speed T-Case and 2000 Ford Ranger suspension.

I've heard rumours that the 2012 Escape is supposed to be based on the UK Ford Kuga...
That would make it more of a CUV... And not bad looking...

I would like to see a V-8 version or a SVT make, since I pasted on the 2010 Cadillac Escalade. Do a complete make over and make it manly!

SVT would be good.... I'd even settle for just putting the Eco-Boost engine in to replace the I4
