The previous owners did some customization on the motor and I'm having trouble finding parts to repair and replace parts that are needing replaced. Right now I need to get new plugs and wires but not sure what to get as I don't want copper plugs. It currently has autolite 26 plugs in it. The motor has been swapped and upgraded or atleast upgraded. How do I find the proper application? If any other information would help let me know.

Welcome to the FFO!

If the engine is not original, you would have to find out what engine you have.

Spark plugs and wires for many Ford products of the 60s and 70s are still available at fast moving parts stores. (Auto Zone, Oreillys or ??) Ebay and other web sources will have [arts as well.

The casting number can help. And may not completely identify the engine.

For instance most FE engine blocks of the 1960s are stamped 352.
It could be a 390 engine too.
There will be casting numbers on the intake and head(s) as well

Is it a six cylinder or an 8?
Can you post a picture or several?
Is there a metal tag usually attached to the coil mounting bracket?
What did the seller say the engine was?

I think before we can be of help to you, it would be pertinent to know what you're planning on for the car and the engine you have. Since it's not original to the car are you trying to make it look as original as possible? If not you have a broader selection of parts available to you.
