The check engine light is on in my truck the two codes I have gotten are DTC P0401 & P0402 :confused5:

Can someone please help me with this??

You need to replace your DPFE, clear the codes then put it through a drive cycle. Most likely that will be all there is to it.

I would check the egr ports to see if they are stopped up. You can apply vacuum to the egr valve and see if the motor stumbles,if it does not stumble check the egr ports first.Due to both codes though I am leaning toward the DPFE sensor also.

There is a Ford TSB on the DPFE. There are other reasons for the codes but that is the most common.
