hey ya'll, i recently bought a '65 falcon. im a fan of all american cars, but its mostly ford, amc and chevrolet.

well it went through a eight year restore and its stock for the most part. the paint is a 2002 mustang yellow, thats the only thing thats been changed on it.

yeah its not a bad classic, i was trying to get a amc or a chevy, but they over price those cars so damn much. the falcon just seemed to snap heads when i took it for a test drive.

what motor/trans in her?

its got a 289 V8 and its has a automatic transmission. the shifter handle has been moved from the column to the floor.

yeah, but that 289 is still stout, i got on it when i hit a back road and it was quick.

they always were.
the 289 with a longer stroke is exactly the 302. it's just hard to find one that hasn't been converted. the 289 heads are great...

im used to driving chevys, but i was surprised by this car performance. the 289 and the small size of the car make for a very good combination.

this is the 2011 falcon. they never stopped producing them...
