I need tech help in trying to install a 4 barrel Holly carb on to a Ford 289... The car that has replaced my "LILITH" , a 2003 Marauder, is a 1967 FORD FAIRLANE 500 ,
bone stock initially, but now I am trying to wake up its true potential. THe carb and intake are mounted but I can't figure out where some of these vacuum lines go, It's justs a Big Ol'e Mess!!!!

Is there anyone in the Overlea area that could help?

It has been a lot of years, so this is from memory. I think the port on the passenger side is for the distributor vac advance. The port by the base plate is straight manifold vacuum for other stuff.

All I ever used was 2 or 3 vacuum lines.. The large tube @ the bottom of the carb in the back is for your brake booster. Used 1 for Vacuum secondaries, & 1 for Auto trans kick down..If manual trans is installed you don't need this...All others were plugged up.. I only used what I had to..

Opps almost for got. I had a vacuum line from the manifold to the pcv valve on the valve cover
