Hello all. I'm new to this forum and to Falcons, but not new to Fords. Id like to start by saying, Thanks for having me! Now for the questions....

My wife wants a 61-63 Falcon 4D sedan or wagon. This is our favorite body style and the prices are pretty good in my area. What I'm wondering is, is one year better than the other? Where there any improvements over the years or a year I should stay away from?

I would like to find somthing with an automatic tranny and don't care about engine size. It will be a regular driver (weekends) and we're not tring to hot rod it.

The only improvements I want to add is power brakes with disc in the front. Any sugestions, help, tips, info or advice would be greatly apreciated. Thanks in advance!!

I'd stay away from something with the 2 speed slush-o-matic tranny,have had no good experiences myself, and haven't heard much in praise from others either.Maybe something with a 200 and a c4? Not sure of the 6 cyl combos.
