My luck keeps getting worse & worse. Ok Thursday I started tearing off the intake on my 98 windstar.. Last night I finished.. Yes long time just for an intake gasket. But I've also got 3 herniated disks. So I have to take lots of breaks, Well one night it rained. And to make a long story short. I got water in my block. But I didn't know how much. After draining the oil pan It appeared to be about 1+ gallon of water was in my block.:yikes: Yeah I closed the hood that night just not all the way. Well last night when I tried to start it after changing the oil. It would not even turn over. Thought it was starter. But due to the amount of water I was scared it being seized up. So I popped on a 21 mm deepwell & breaker bar & got the engine to move. Then it cranked over. But it sounded like crap. Thought maybe I did something wrong installing the intake. So I re did the intake this morn & just put another 4 quarts of fresh oil. & there's the oil getting all milky again. I'm thinking head gaskets now.. I really don't want to consider a cracked head or block.. But I've gotten prices for long blocks just in case. Anyone have any input on this story???
BTW it didn't take a lot of effort to unseize the engine. I did go back a little then forward. But I didn't hear anything snap, break or crunch...:cryin:
