[Mountainman 1954]

Believe there is a short in the oil sending unit wiring.
None of my books have a schematic showing the oil sending unit.
Would like to try a jumper wire before cutting into main wiring harness.

Mountainman 1954 has a 1991 4.9L. If I recall correctly they were the same in the F150's & Bronco's, I have an engine schematic but nothing showing the oil sending unit.

Poppy do you have one in your "Big-Book-O-Bronco" stuff that might help out Mountainman??

How high is H and how low is L? I got tired of guessing and just install a mechanical pressure gauge in everything I drive. Rich

A short to ground should show full pressure.
A broken wire will show no pressure.

The attached schematic is for the 4 gauge cluster.
