The vinyl finish on the steering wheel has stretched and peeled. Aside from purchasing a steering wheel cover that will not match the color, is there anything else that can be done?

Would mentioning this to the dealer help?

I have a 2009 Mercury Mariner.

Thank you,
Goat

Wow! I have a great service advisor! I called concering the peeling on the steering wheel and he told me that he ordered a new wheel yesterday.

My '09 Mariner is one of the 2% that is having the transmission parts replaced because of CSP 10B15.

I took it in yesterday for the service and he noticed immediately that the steering wheel finish was in bad shape.

I have to say that McGavock Lincoln Mercury in Lubbock, TX has great people working for them! Service Advisor Cody Hitchner stays on top of his game.

Thanks,
Goat
