So I've been busy and not so active on here, but done a few things.
I took a Sport steering wheel that I bought from EBay about 10 years ago or so and desided I would restore it since it was in far worse shape in person then how it looked on Ebay .

This is the before.
I took rhe old rubber grip of since it was in bad shape. The spokes had been spray bombed silver over the old rusty black that it once was .
I replaced the tip with a real African Mahogany and restored the spokes to a brushed raw metal.
Here is how it turned out

I since then bought 7 more of these old crusty wheels and plan to restore them and sell them.

Those kinds of projects have to be fun. The results are right there when you are sitting in the driver's seat.

Great point. That's why I like interior projects better than performance ones.

That is a fine looking detailed job
Reminds me in the 60's they had factory on some of the sports models
