Ok, now I know the baby cant stop the wheel hoping....but I believe I have never seen those bars before...I would say no wonder they dont help. Loose them and get some after market upper and lower control arms.

Those slapper bars were on the 82 GT or maybe the other 5.0 cars in 82. On my 82 I took out the 3 spacers and snugged the slappers to the frame rails. Works no hop. The cars that have the 8.8 and quad shock set ups, I guess 85 and up?

But i have a 7.5in..... oh well... took out 3 spacers from passenger side, less hop but looks funny.

84.5 was the change from slappers to quads. i guess there are some rare early svo's that had them. mines a 7.5 as well thats the only rear that came with them. the 8.8 came out in 86.
