well, I think its time for the Crown Vic to be laid to rest - as in I "may" get $3,000 for it through an aircheck texas program - which basically is like a cash for clunkers deal in certain parts of north texas.

the catch is - to buy a car no less than 3 years old (2007 and up) and the dealer will automatically take it in as a trade to have it crushed.

The Vic squeaks, leaks, rumbles, and minor things that honestly - i dont feel like putting any more money into it.

Which leads me to ask what do you guys think of the new ford fiesta? i've been checking it out online and for about 17k i can get one well equiped.

minus the 3k - thats a new car for about 4k (and its not a kia or hyundai). :cornut:

any thoughts on the Fiesta? i think its a bit "funky" looking, but its going to be a daily driver, which i'm opting for the 6 speed automatic.

either a fiesta or a honda civic. the Focus is too small for me (even the sedan)

thanks!

Lol least the fiesta has style to it with the correct color!

The '11 Fiesta's Sedan compared to the '10 Focus's Sedan there isn't much of a difference size wise besides a few small numbers and the Focus is bigger in that category. Tell us what your looking for in a car? Just a daily driver so your looking for decent MPG while being reliable.

Fords directly selling the 2010 Fiestas for about 13k for the smallest package. The SES Hatchback is going for around 17k. I just checked a few dealerships around me and its the same. All depends on which package your wanting to get. 13k at 227/M isnt bad at all for a new car that gets almost 30/MPG

But most definitely go with some sort of a Ford over a Honda. Honda's quality of a car now a days is really really cheap. I spent 2 weeks in NY for last New Years and I never once saw a ford. It was all Honda's, Toyota's, or Mercedes lol. I know that doesn't help my side but just saying it was saddening

i would go with the SEL package, to see if i can get a X-Plan partner recognition plan discount through my employer. i doubt i would opt for leather, since this would just be a daily driver, errand runner, and occasional airport shuttle (hahaha)

I "built" one online and went with a blue one, with the black/blue interior decor.

now..... hatch or sedan?
